"Garden For Just One Flower"

Something I wrote for her, now -and again- for her birthday. For the form, I used the song "Torna", sung -as far as I know- by Franco Corelli.


Your eyes were burning Suns
in every challenge,
when someone dared
to face your majesty...
And there you'd go at them
without a question,
to prove that only you could be the Queen.

Flower, of burning eyes
and soft heart,
of hugging arms
and strong hands...
Who's now under your care ?

Mother... To know each moment right.
Mother... To give welcomes and goodbyes.
Flower..., Flower..., Flower...
You gave your life for all, that day,
and now your heart will never fail.

Time doesn't mean too much
if you're in Heaven,
but here a year
can be a long long time...
When one much loved
has gone and crossed the Rainbow,
and only left behind sweet memories.

Flower, if you're still
there in Heaven,
its gardens
will be amazing,
for having such a Rose...

Mother... To keep your children safe.
Mother... To be loved and get respect.
Flower..., Flower..., Flower...
Your Sun set down inside that den...
A Moon of legends was born then.
